NMS stands for Network Management & Monitoring system. This course introduces the concepts of NMS itself which applied in various type of NMS system used in industry. Variety type of NMS exits based on their functionality. How to decide what NMS to be apply..depends on what actually you want to achieve from the monitoring activities. There are also licenced NMS and free used NMS. For educational purposes,,we are using Nagios core and MRTG as lab activities..since they are freeware and powerfull too!.This is really fun n exciting.
