Some of you may face error during completing Lab 06. I am afraid may be this is because of the Nagios version that you are using currently. By default, suse 10 will give you Nagios ver 1.3. In order to upgrade the version of Nagios, here are the step that might help you. I also provide you the latest ver. of Nagios (ver 3x) as below:

  1. Stop Nagios

    • Configuration files
      • Main config file (usually nagios.cfg)

      • All your object definition files
    • Retention file (usually retention.dat)
    • Current Nagios log file (usually nagios.log)
    • Archived Nagios log files
  3. Uninstall the original RPM or APT package
  4. Install Nagios from source by following the quickstart guides for SuSe
  5. Restore your original Nagios configuration files, retention file, and log files
  6. Troubleshoot and repair error if any

  1. I suggest that you just not really present a art print out of your photo slides. If you're employing photo slides appropriately, being a visible aide, you won't most of that which you say about the photo slides, thus graphics with the photo slides won't help folks a lot. A exemption would have been a handout together with living space for people to adopt records beside every go. After that, they are able to write down ones things. Control group handout
